Felt is the oldest form of fabric known to humankind, dating back at least to 6,500 BC. It is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers. It is a simple technique requiring very little equipment. Felting is taught in Waldorf schools all over the world as a form of sculpting with wool.
Our Merino wool is soft and fine, and is perfect for needle felting and projects that will be worn close to the skin.
This Merino wool is 100% Japanese product.
